Hi, I’m the maker and mum behind Krafty Kat, a handmade business built from life’s challenges — and fueled by creativity, love, and the desire to help others like me.
Almost ten years ago, I was in a serious car accident while pregnant with my fifth child. That experience, along with multiple surgeries and a stroke that left me partially paralysed, changed my life forever. My working life came to an unexpected halt, but I refused to let it define me.
On top of my recovery, I was navigating a new challenge — raising children with neurodivergence and life-threatening allergies. I couldn’t find safe, affordable, fun products here in Australia that worked for our needs. So I started making them myself.
Why I Started Krafty Kat

Why "Krafty Kat"?
One night, towards the end of the school year, I woke up with a funny thought:
“Do you have your KK present yet?”
I replied to myself: “Let Krafty Kat help you!”
My kids thought it was clever and perfect Christmas marketing— and that’s when the name clicked. Now Krafty Kat brings joy, play, and handcrafted beauty into homes across Australia.
